You can check in beginning at 12:00 noon. Note that the Udon Master Class begins at 1:00 pm, so please arrive on time so that you can allow yourself enough time to relax and get settled before getting started.
2What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 10:00 am, after returning from the Udon Breakfast Tour.
3What if I don’t arrive on time for the start of the Udon Master Class?
Guests that arrive late for the Udon Master Class are still more than welcome to join at any time. Please just note that you won’t be able to take part in the entire program as a result. Your understanding is appreciated.
4What is included in the total cost? What is not included?
Included in the cost: Udon Master Class (entire program with all-you-can-eat Udon and one drink), Udon Breakfast Tour, lodging at Udon House, selected activity on day 2.
Not included in the cost: use of washing machine (300 yen per use; includes soap), additional drinks and souvenirs.
5Are doors open 24 hrs?
Guests are able to come and go 24 hrs a day. Enjoy your time at Udon House, however be sure not to oversleep and miss out on the Udon Breakfast Tour.
6Is there a minimum age limit for children to take part in the Udon Experience and workshops?
Participants of all ages are welcome to stay and take part in all of the activities at Udon House. However, please note that there are no children’s rates, and that the cost for children to stay and take part in programs is the same as that of adults. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated.
7Is Udon available to eat 24 hrs. a day?
Guests are allowed to use the kitchen facilities in the UDON FLOOR until 10:00 pm. After that, guests are welcome to use the basic cooking tools and utensils available in the shared kitchen space at any time 24 hrs. a day. Please just be considerate of other guests that may be trying to sleep.
8Are drinks available?
Coffee and tea are provided free-of-charge in the shared kitchen. Other soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be purchased directly at Udon House. Guests are also welcome to bring in their own beverages purchased elsewhere.
9Is there a convenience store nearby?
The closest convenience store is about a 15-minute walk, or 3 minutes by car.
10Can I leave my luggage at reception prior to check-in or after check-out?
You can leave your luggage with reception at Udon House, however only on the day of check-in and check-out.
11How should I best look out for my valuables?
For the dormitory-style lodging, each bed has an individual lock on the door. For the Japanese-style room, there is also a lock on the door. Note that while Udon House has taken precautions to assure that each guest has a safe experience, we ask that you keep your valuables with you, as Udon House is not responsible in the event of any lost or stolen goods.
12I’m a lone traveler. What is security like?
Each individual bed in the dormitory-style lodging is fully enclosed with it’s own lock.
13What is the arrangement for showers and restrooms?
There are no showers or toilets inside the rooms where guests stay. Lodging is on the second floor, with toilets and showers all accessible 24 hours a day on the first floor.
14Is there a parking lot that I can use?
There are two (2) parking spaces available on-site which are free-of-charge. If you would like to use one of these parking spaces, please let us know upon making your reservation. As spaces are limited, they will be allocated to guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. If parking is unavailable, we kindly request that guests use the neighboring pay parking lot.
15Are group reservations possible?
Each of the three (3) dormitory-style rooms can accommodate up to four (4) persons each. The Japanese-style room can accommodate three (3) persons. Reservations for more than 8 people will need to rent out the entire facility. Should you wish to rent out the entire facility for a private experience or special engagement, please feel free to inquire with the staff.

17Is smoking allowed?
Udon House is an entirely non-smoking facility. Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated.
18Can I pay with a credit card?
VISA and Mastercard can be used for online bookings. Payments on-site can be made with VISA, Mastercard, or American Express.
